ARP Electric industrial store entrance

Our History

ARP was formed in 2000 in Jacksonville, Florida as are rebuilder of alternators and starters. The initial focus was auto and light duty applications. In 2002 we expanded into the heavy duty market and in 2006 we pulled completely out of the rebuilding market into the distribution of complete units.

In 2002 began the process of implementing an in house design and building of an online web portal. The web portal has moved thru multiple releases and over time. The utilization of the dynamic web tool along with a current cross reference listing of 1,00,000-line items with over 4,000,000 cross references.

Our Mission

The partner network of over 16 distribution centers to pull and drop ship from has enabled us to service customers domestically and globally. In 2018 we expanded our product offering to Turbos, wire, terminals, supplies and batteries. This expansion started with adding these line items to our counter, parts catalog and into our online portal.

Our Process

We pride ourselves on our fill rates at over 99% and the utilization of our bar coding system to bring material inbound and double check the checkout process. The material can be shipped via Fedex, LTL or via UPS.

The Beginning

In 2023 the implementation of additional tools to stream line our processes. Salesforce was launched by adding over 5,000 clients to our database. Kennect’s texting service enables our customers to communicate to us inquires and images for identification. Enterprise Quickbooks was added which ties all three product together.
